About the Clinic

The Sayward Primary Healthcare Clinic is run by the Sayward Community Health Society (SCHS) with our Nurse Practitioners and admin staff provided and paid for by Island Health (previously VIHA). The Society board of directors are all local people and volunteers.

The Society is a registered charity and we will continue to raise money for paying the running costs, renovations, education, extra’s and any equipment we cannot get supplied by Island Health.

The aim of the Clinic is to serve the local community and visitors by providing medical services locally to avoid the need for continued travel down to Campbell River and further away.

We welcome and value your suggestions about the services that would be valuable in our Community.

Our Nurse Practitioner is Tracey, we have Fran and Enid O’Hara, the Island Health area manager currently covering as needed over the summer.

Please see the Sayward Community Health Society page for more details of the Society and how you can help support our Clinic.
