Associate membership is a way for everyone who is interested to not only become involved with the Clinic, but also become a member of the Society and have a real say on how the Clinic is run.
As well as attending the Annual General Meeting and having voting rights, associate members have regular meetings where we can all get together and discuss any idea’s for the future, including fundraising, which is of vital importance, and any concerns etc.
Membership currently costs $10 per year and all funds received will go directly towards the running of the Clinic. Over 600 people have used the Clinic and current membership stands at 43. You do not have to be a member to use the Clinic, but as we are a community Clinic and not government run, funding is always tight and membership money helps to keep the doors open.
Current members wishing to renew their subscriptions and anyone who is interested in becoming an associate member can join us at the anniversary get together which is being planned for late January or join at any other time. Alternatively, see any of the directors at any time, or email the society on firstname.lastname@example.org, or see Crystal in the Clinic. and we will get back to you.
Please note that you do not have to be a member to assist us on a volunteer basis with any projects we need help with, or to make comments and suggestions. We welcome ideas and feedback from everyone via our email.
